The Avenir Bilingual School of Ngaparou opened its doors in September 2018, with new buildings that respect the environment, local resources to develop solutions adapted to the terrain and Senegalese know-how.

Our mission is to nurture lifelong learners who are curious, open-minded, and responsible, capable of acting with integrity in a rapidly changing world.
Through a transdisciplinary approach rooted in African contexts and open to the world, we cultivate creativity and excellence, in order to empower students to become local and internationally-minded engaged citizens.
The EBA of Ngaparou is:
- A secular school with as many courses in English as in French.
- Partnerships with local associations and businesses.
- Buildings constructed on the principles of a green school (Green schools are healthy, high-performance educational environments for both students and staff) with classrooms equipped with the latest technologies.

A 100% bilingual curriculum!
The academic curriculum at EBA Ngaparou is 100% bilingual. Our goal is to expose our students to different cultures from a very young age. From kindergarten to middle school, students will have an equal number of classes taught in English and French by native speakers.
EBA presents its students for Cambridge exams for English certifications and for the French Institute exams to attest to their level of French.
A rigorous and caring teaching approach
The intellectual development of children and the solidity of fundamental learning are our priority. Our teachers are trained in cognitive science to foster children's attention, active engagement, questioning, and knowledge consolidation.
Finally, we encourage innovation with learning through play, experimentation, and discovery, which allows for the creation of positive synergies between students and teachers.
Our goal is to create an environment that fosters a love of learning, encourages creativity, solidarity, and collaborative work. At our school, students learn in small classes to develop their critical thinking skills, their role within a group, and to learn how to work as a team.
In this spirit of mutual respect and in order to develop a sense of belonging, the students of the Avenir Bilingual School wear a uniform.
Additional services
The EBA in Ngaparou welcomes children from 2 years old, if they are clean, from 7:30 am until 6 pm (every day of the week).
Furthermore, we offer a school transport service for all our students. Shuttles are available morning and afternoon to and from Saly and La Somone. These vehicles are comfortable and meet all safety standards.
At the EBA in Ngaparou, we offer healthy and balanced meals for children with a large proportion of organically grown products. Thanks to our garden and educational farm, children are introduced to respecting the environment.
The Clubs
We welcome children enrolled at the Avenir Bilingual School every day from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Our teaching methods and values are also applied to the children we welcome in the afternoon. Language learning, cultural exploration, and discovering the planet are just some of the themes explored in our recreational workshops, whether they be sports, creative activities, cooking, or art!
